1. Scope and Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all subscription purchases made through Cloudjod ("Company," "we," "us") at cloudjod.com. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and are subject to Stripe's payment processing terms in addition to this Policy.

We believe in a fair, transparent cancellation and refund process. You can cancel at any time, and we offer a genuine 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time paid subscribers — no interrogation, no hoops to jump through.

2. Cancellation — Self-Service Path

You may cancel your subscription at any time through either of the following methods. Cancellation requires no reason, no approval, and no waiting period.

Method A — Account Dashboard (Instant, Recommended)

  1. Log in to your account

    Go to cloudjod.com and sign in with your registered email and password.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Billing

    Click your account name in the top right → Settings → select the Billing tab.

  3. Click "Cancel Subscription"

    You will be shown your current billing period end date and asked to confirm cancellation. Confirm to proceed.

  4. Receive confirmation email

    A cancellation confirmation is sent immediately to your registered email address. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will occur after that date.

Method B — Email Request

If you are unable to access the dashboard, send a cancellation request to support@cloudjod.com from your registered account email address with the subject line "Subscription Cancellation Request." Include your company name and registered email. We process email cancellation requests within 1 business day and will confirm via email once processed.

What happens after cancellation: Your account remains active with full access until the end of the current billing period. There are no prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except as described in Section 3 (14-Day Guarantee) and Section 4. After the billing period ends, your account automatically downgrades to the Lite tier.

3. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Our Commitment

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee to all first-time subscribers on the Pro and Broker tiers. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason within the first 14 calendar days of your first paid subscription, we will issue a full refund of the first payment — no questions asked.

3.2 What "First-Time Subscriber" Means

The guarantee is available once per account and once per legal entity (identified by company name, EORI number, or registered email domain). Accounts created solely to exploit the guarantee through repeated sign-ups may be suspended without refund under our acceptable use policy.

4. Refund Eligibility by Scenario

5. Refund Processing and Timelines

All refunds are processed exclusively to the original credit card, debit card, or payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different card, bank account, PayPal account, or any other payment method. We cannot issue refunds in cash or cryptocurrency.

5.2 Currency

Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original charge. Cloudjod charges in USD. If your card was billed in a different currency due to currency conversion by your bank or card issuer, the refund will be in USD at the original charge amount. Currency conversion differences are governed by your bank's exchange rate policies, not ours.

5.3 Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation from Cloudjod when a refund is initiated, along with a Stripe refund reference number. If you do not receive a refund within 14 calendar days of this confirmation, contact your bank first — the funds may be pending. If the issue persists, contact us at support@cloudjod.com with your refund reference number.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are explicitly non-refundable under any circumstances:

We do not offer prorated refunds for plan downgrades within a billing period. If you downgrade from Broker to Pro, the lower rate applies at the next renewal; no refund is issued for the difference within the current period.

7. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, please contact us at support@cloudjod.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing disputes can be resolved directly and quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account and may affect future eligibility for the platform.

If a chargeback is filed, we will respond to the issuing bank through Stripe's dispute resolution process with the relevant documentation, including your account registration details, usage logs, and any prior communication.
